BEIJING, Dec. 8 (Xinhua) -- Marianne Vos of DSB Bank Track team took her
second gold from the 2007 UCI Track Cycling World Cup Beijing as she won the
women's 20 kilometers points race final here on Saturday.
Vos, who clinched her first gold from the women's scratch event on Friday,
got 12 points to win the second gold.
Yonaka Gonzalez Perez of Cuba also got 12 points but only got silver medal
for Vos finished the final point race in first place.
Bronze went to Australian Katherine Bates of T-mobile Track team with nine
points. Bates was reigning world champion, who finished 12th in last week's
Sydney World Cup.
Sydney's winner Giorgia Bronzini of Italy got only two points. She
automatically booked a place in next year's Beijing Olympics after winning the
title last week.
