NAKHON RATCHASIM, Thailand, Dec. 7 (Xinhua) -- Hang Truong Thanh lifted a gold medal for Vietnam in the women's 1,500 meters race final at the 24th Southeast Asian Games here on Friday.
Thanh clinched her personal best of the season and became the first one reaching the finishing line at 4 minutes 11.60 seconds.
Budiarti Rini from Indonesia clocked 4 minutes 19.99 seconds to win the silver, followed by Hien Bui Thi from Vietnam in 4 minutes 22.55 seconds.
