WASHINGTON, Nov. 27 (Xinhua) -- The Milwaukee Bucks suffered their first home loss of the season on Tuesday when they were beaten by the Philadelphia 76ers 114-99.

The Bucks came out flat early falling behind by as many as fourteen points in the first quarter before pulling to within four, 56-52 at halftime. The 76ers hit 17 of their first 25 shots.

Defensively flashbacks were evident of recent Bucks teams that all they wanted to do was score and not play any defense. Well the Bucks did score but didn't play any defense at all allowing Phillyto shoot 52.3% from the field.

They played slow, they played soft, and they played selfish, the exact opposite of what got them in to first place in the Central Division. Philly played hard, together, with a purpose.

Milwaukee was led by Michael Redd's 17 points. Super rookie and the Bucks number one pick in this years NBA draft, Yi Jianlian of China, had 13 points on 5/9 shooting and 5 rebounds in 25 minutes. The rookie is acquiring some bad habits from team mates Redd and Mo Williams, as he has begun over the last few games to stand around outside on offense just waiting for the ball so he can shoot.

Inconsistency is expected for a young team, but playing lethargic, lazy, uninspired basketball should never happen.
