Earthquake shocks seas of Luzon, Philippines

    HONG KONG, Nov. 27 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake measuring 6.0 on the Richter scale shook the seas west of Luzon, Philippines at about 12:29 p.m. (0429 GMT) Tuesday, according to a bulletin released by the Hong Kong Observatory Tuesday.

    The epicenter was determined to be located at 16.0 degrees north latitude and 119.9 degrees east longitude, about 85 kilometers west-southwest of Baguio, Philippines.

    There has been no immediate casualty report by the press time.
