    BEIJING, Nov. 24 -- The 2007 MTV Style Gala hit the Shanghai Grand Stage on Friday, gathering together some of the biggest names in entertainment.

    This year's event also featured American socialite Paris Hilton, who was given the award for Most Stylish International Person.

    Actress-turned-singer Vicky Zhao, veteran singer Sammi Cheng and diva Elva Hsiao were named the most stylish female singers from the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong and Taiwan respectively.

    The most stylish actresses were Li Bingbing (Chinese mainland) and Charlene Choi Zhuoyan (Hong Kong and Taiwan).

    Other winners included "bad boy" Chang Chenyue, the Most Stylish Male Singer from Taiwan, and heartthrob Nicholas Tse, awarded the Most Stylish Actor from Hong Kong.

    High profile mainland director Feng Xiaogang walked away with the Most Stylish Director award for his latest war epic, "Assembly."
