BEIJING, Nov. 22 -- Over 40 university student volunteers in Hangzhou, east China, expressed their sincere thanks to the city's sanitation workers by displaying a collection of their hand-made red paper hearts to visitors to the Broke Bridge on West Lake, asking more people to sign on them their blessings they love to pass onto the respectful sanitation workers.
Local Qianjiang Evening News reported that the voluntary group showed some 2,000 red paper hearts made by themselves to tourists visiting the bridge, a popular scenic spot of the West Lake in Hangzhou.
The volunteers said they will present their thanksgiving gifts to sanitation workers working in the area.
