Road accident kills 6, injures 20 in Bangladesh

   ¡¡DHAKA, Nov. 21 (Xinhua) -- At least six people were killed and 20 people injured in a tragic road accident in Bangladesh's Narsingdi district, 45 northeast of capital Dhaka, Wednesday morning.

    Police and witnesses were quoted by private news agency UNB as saying that the accident occurred at about 8:00 a.m. local time when a cattle loaded truck collided with a minibus on the highway connecting Dhaka with northeastern Sylhet city.

    Four were killed on the spot and 22 other were injured. Two others died later at the district general hospital.

    The other injured were rushed to the same hospital. Later, five of them were shifted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital following the deterioration of their condition.

    Police seized the truck and minibus but its drivers managed to flee.
