    BEIJING, Nov. 17 (Xinhuanet) -- "Sex and the City" star Chris Noth, Mr. Big, will become Big Daddy soon, as he and his girlfriend, Tara Wilson, are expecting their first child according to his representatives Friday.

    "Chris and Tara are very happy and have always agreed to keep what is most personal in their lives private," Noth's manager and publicist said in a statement.

    Noth reportedly met Wilson when she worked at his New York bar, The Cutting Room.

    The off-screen couple, have an upcoming on-screen appearance in "Frame Of Mind," a drama about a detective who discovers new evidence related to the assassination of President Kennedy.

    Noth, 53, played Sarah Jessica Parker's love interest on "Sex and the City."

    He'll reprise his role as Mr. Big in an upcoming "Sex and the City" movie. He also plays Detective Mike Logan on the TV show "Law & Order: Criminal Intent."
