HANOI, Nov. 16 (Xinhua) -- Thailand's Nakul Vichitryuthasastr led one stroke ahead of Filipinos Mars Pucay and Felix Casas after the third round of the Mercedes-Benz Championship Vietnam on Friday.

Bangkok-native Nakul fired a one-under-par 71 at Vietnam Golf and Country Club in the fourth leg of the ASEAN Golf Tour.

A stroke further back are Pijit Petchakasem from Thailand and Malaysian Khor Kheng Hwai.

Nakul turned professional last year after an impressive amateur career and he is hungry for a win.

He was three under for his round after 14 holes having not dropped a shot but bogeyed 16 and 17.
