Brazil to present its new uniform Thursday

    BRASILIA, Nov. 14 (Xinhua) -- The Brazilian soccer team will unveil its new uniform on Thursday in Teresopolis, its training base located in the suburb of Rio de Janeiro.

    The uniform will be used in their friendly games and also in the eliminatory games for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.

    The details of the new uniform have yet to be divulged by the Brazilian Football Club (CBF). The uniform, which is sponsored by Nike, will first be displayed on Nov. 21 in their game against Uruguay in Sao Paulo.

    In their game against Peru this coming Sunday, the head coach, Dunga, announced that the team will be wearing their old jersey.

    The last time that the national team re-designed their uniform was in February of last year for the World Cup held Germany.
