Chinese Yang grabs second gold at Military World Games

    HYDERABAD, India, Oct. 20 (Xinhua) -- The newly crowned swimming queen Yang Li of China bagged her second gold after winning women's 50m freestyle at the 4th Military World Games hereon Saturday.

    Yang, who clocked 25.62 seconds to take the gold, beat D. Samulski of Germany to the second place in 25.72 seconds.

    The bronze medal went to S. Khakhlova of Belarus with 26.07 seconds.

    Yang broke the world record to win women's 50m backstroke on Friday. It was also the first world record being broken in the World Military Games since its first edition in Rome in 1995.
