HYDERABAD, India, Oct. 18 (Xinhua) -- Chinese divers dominated the 4th
Military World Games after Peng Bo won China the third diving gold here on
Thursday.
Peng, the Athen's Olympic gold medallist, collected a total of 481.10
points to win the men's 3m springboard, while his teammate Zhang Xinhua took the
bronze in 470.60.
Russian diving star Dmitry Sautin settled with a silver in 472.60.
Led from the first dive, Peng did not gave any chance to veteran Sautin,
who participated in all the editions of the Games since 1995.
"He took the gold in Rome. However, when I joined the competition, he only
can take silver," said Peng, who first participated in the Games in 1999.
Li Shixin grabbed first gold for China after winning the men's 1 meter
springboard title on Monday, and Yang Yuting snatched the second by winning
women's 3m springboard a day later.
