BEIJING, Oct. 11 (Xinhuanet) -- "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal
Skull," the latest Indiana Jones adventure, is the most eagerly awaited movie
scheduled for release next year, said a poll as quoted by media reports
Thursday.
The poll, conducted by online movie-ticketing service
MovieTickets.com, said it asked over 2,000 U.S. moviegoers to list the films
they were most interested in seeing in the next 12
months.
Steven Spielberg's fourth adventure franchise,
"Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull," topped the list, followed
by the next Batman movie, "The Dark Knight," at No. 2, "National Treasure: Book
of Secrets" at No. 3, and "American Gangster" at No. 4.
The top 10 also included several others based on
existing properties, such as the "Chronicles of Narnia" and "The Mummy: Tomb of
the Dragon Emperor."
Only two original movies --"American Gangster" and "I
Am Legend"-- made it into the top 10.
"The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull," starring Harrison
Ford as adventurer Indiana Jones, will also star Karen Allen, Jim Broadbent,
John Hurt and Ray Winstone. It will be released on May 22, 2008.

BEIJING, Sept. 11 (Xinhuanet) -- Almost, but not quite
lost in the hullabaloo of the MTV Video Music Awards in Las Vegas was a bit of
information that ended months of speculation: the title of next summer's
"Indiana Jones" movie is "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal
Skull."
Presenter Shia LaBeouf, co-star of the new film, announced
