BEIJING, Oct. 10 (Xinhuanet) -- Four days out of
rehab, troubled actress Lindsay Lohan vowed to grow up and keep away from the LA
club scene, according to two interviews in media Wednesday.
"Going out all the time was very self-destructive,"
the former party girl told In Touch Weekly when asked how her life would change.
"The biggest thing is not being in LA and staying
away from the nightlife," Lohan said.
"There are some things that I can do to make changes
and grow up. I want to act like a woman rather than a teenager," said the
21-year-old starlet.
"I just want to apologize to any of my fans that look
up to me, especially my younger fans, for setting the examples that I didn't
mean to set," she said.
Lohan, who rose to fame in Disney movies like "Freaky
Friday," was arrested July 24 in Santa Monica, California, for drunk driving and
possession of cocaine.
She pleaded guilty to the charges and was sentenced
to one day in jail, 10 hours of community work, and three years probation.
In early August Lohan checked into the exclusive
Cirque Lodge Treatment Center in the state of Utah for a two-month
detoxification program.
In a separate interview with OK! magazine, Lohan said
the experience in the rehab center was "sobering."
"It was humbling. It made me look at myself, and all
of the people, places and things in my life in a different way," she said.
Lohan also admitted she had reached the lowest point
in her career.
"I hit rock bottom," she said.

Michael Lohan, after a 3 1/2-year estrangement ¡ª tells In Touch Weekly that her
parents' divorce triggered her behavior.
"The trouble in my family resulted in me rebelling
and doing things to try to get my parents' attention," she said.
Finally, Lohan said it is time to get back to work.
"I'm going back to (Los Angeles) to shoot 'Dare To
Love Me,' but I plan on returning to Utah so I can stay focused and avoid other
distractions," she told OK!
