ISLAMABAD, Sept. 30 (Xinhua) -- A girls' high school in the North West Frontier Province (NWFP) of Pakistan was blown up by some militants on Sunday and no casualties were reported, the state-run Associated Press of Pakistan (APP) reported.
A girls' school in Kabal of Swat district in NWFP was blown up when some unknown militants detonated three remote control bombs around it, the APP report quoted police sources as saying.
The two-story school building was totally destroyed and a nearby mosque was also damaged as a result of the explosion.
The school administration had already received a letter from unknown persons warning of serious consequences if the girl students did not wear veil.
