BEIJING, Sept. 30 -- "Harry Potter" star Daniel Radcliffe said he wants to play a gay spy, according to media report on Saturday.

He wants to audition for the part in the remake of the movie "Another Country."

The young actor said he had never play a gay character just for the sake of playing a gay character.

"But if the script was good and it was a good character, it wouldn't bother me. Playing characters exploring their sexuality is a challenge. I'm 18 so the parts I'm going to be given will be for that age range - when people are doing just that."

Radcliffe had recently played naked on the London Stage in the play "Equus" and says he doesn't mind any role as long as it is interesting.

He says, "The thing I've been signing recently is iPhones. I've signed about half a dozen of them. People at the red carpets present them to me.

"I'm like, 'Are you sure? This is an expensive phone and my writing is horrible.'"
