Senior CPC official meets Lao guests

    BEIJING, Sept. 25 (Xinhua) -- Liu Yunshan, head of the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, met here on Tuesday with a delegation from the Lao People's Revolution Party headed by Phanhdouangchith Vongsa, Lao minister of information and culture.

    Liu, also a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, said China and Laos had expanded cooperation in all areas and consultation in the international affairs, and party-to-party exchanges had been frequent in the recent years.

    He pledged to enhance the good-neighborly relations with Laos so as to realize the agreements reached by the leaders of the two countries.

    Phanhdouangchith said Laos would push forward relations with China in the guideline of long-term stability, good neighborliness, mutual trust and all-round cooperation.
