ULAN BATOR, Sept. 19 (Xinhua) -- Mongolia and Laos signed government
protocols Wednesday to strengthen bilateral cooperation in culture, education,
sports and science.
The protocols were signed during Laotian President Choummaly Sayasone's
three-day visit to the Central Asian country.
During a meeting between the two sides, Mongolian President N. Enkhbayar
lauded the increased exchanges of high-level visits between the two countries
and the development of bilateral relations on the principle of mutual benefit
and sustenance.
He hoped both countries can support each other on regional
issues.
