JAKARTA, Sept. 13 (Xinhua) -- Indonesia issued the sixth tsunami warning on
Thursday evening after a 6.8-magnitude aftershock rocked Bengkulu province in
Sumatra Island, according to the Meteorology and Geophysics Agency.
The aftershock struck at 23:09 Jakarta time (1609 GMT) with epicenter at
121 kilometers southwest Lais town in northern part of the province and 10
kilometers under sea bed, an official of the agency said.

"The shock is potential for tsunami," said an official of the agency.
The powerful main shock with magnitude of 7.9 rocked Bengkulu province on
Wednesday afternoon.
Until Thursday evening, powerful and moderate tremors frequently occurred
in the area, according to the meteorology agency.
Earthquake hits Talaud,

HONG KONG, Sept. 13 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake measuring
6.2 on the Richter scale hit off the coast of Talaud Islands, Indonesia, at 0955
GMT Thursday, the Hong Kong Observatory reported.
The epicenter was initially determined to be 3.8 degrees
north and 126.4 degrees east, about 310 kilometers north-northeast of Manado,

Powerful earthquake hits E

JAKARTA, Sept. 13 (Xinhua) -- A strong earthquake with
magnitude of 6.4 rocked eastern part of Indonesia on Thursday, potential for
tsunami, Meteorology and Geophysics Agency announced here.
The quake struck at 16:48 Jakarta time (0948GMT) with epicenter 291 kilometers northeast Bitung town of North Sulawesi province and at 30 kilometers in depth, an official of the agency said.
