BEIJING, Sept. 8 (Xinhua) -- Chinese senior official encouraged literary artists to create more life-oriented products at a ceremony awarding model artists on Friday.

Li Changchun, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, awarded eight top prize winners of a public cultural popularization campaign at the ceremony.
