GAZA, Aug. 23 (Xinhua) -- The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) denounced on Thursday that it had found evidences that showed Palestinian security apparatuses spied on Hamas and provided the information to Israel and the United States under the pretext of fighting terrorism.

    Said Siam, former minister of interior from Hamas, brought to a news conferences parcel of documents and CD desks "to prove the full and comprehensive coordination between Palestinian security apparatuses and Israel and American intelligence services."

    The evidences "showed that some security forces in Gaza had spied on leaders and militants in coordination with the United States and Israeli security intelligence," he told the reporters.

    "Both sides were exchanging information on Palestinian leaders and militants, including other Arab countries as well," added Siam, who is also head of Hamas movement's block in the Palestinian Legislative Council (PLC).

    Siam also presented records and journals of meetings of Palestinian preventive security and security intelligence service officials with representatives of the United States Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).

    "They were exchanging information on militants' and leaders' movements in the Gaza Strip under the pretext of fighting terrorism," said Siam, adding that "the meetings were held to crackdown on Hamas and kill its leaders." According to the senior Hamas leader, the former security apparatuses in the Gaza Strip "blackmailed some Arab and Palestinian figures, by using methods of denaturalization."

    "Those security apparatuses were collaborating against the interests of some Arab and Islamic countries," Siam said, adding that "a full report was sent to each country through Hamas leadership abroad."

    Hamas movement unseated President Mahmoud Abbas security forces ,and took control of all the Gaza Strip, including all security headquarters, in mid June. It said it found a "treasure of secret documents and data."
