TV: Passenger aircraft en route from Cyprus to Turkey hijacked 2007-08-18 14:18:23   Print

    ANKARA, Aug. 18 (Xinhua) -- A hijacked passenger aircraft belonging to Atlas-Jet landed at Antalya Airport in southern Turkey on Saturday, local NTV reported.

    The report said that the passenger aircraft with 136 passengers and six crew on board was hijacked on flight from Nicosia to Istanbul and landed at Antalya Airport for refuelling. The hijacker wanted the plane to fly to Iran, NTV said.
