    BEIJING, Aug. 2 -- "Super Girl" Zhang Liangying released her second album "Up-date" Thursday, making her the top album releaser among Super Girls, the Chinese versioned American idol.

    Best known for singing her favourite songs in foreign languages, Zhang gave up singing English songs on the new album, saying Chinese songs can express her feelings better.

    When asked about the album's name "Up-date," Zhang explained that this is an up-graded step from her first album, "The One." R&B and jazz style songs ware included in the new album.

    The singing star spent one year in preparations for her "Up-date." She has been to America during that period to study and give performances. Being one of the most successful "Super Girls," she made her North American debut in March with a solo concert in Los Angeles.
