BEIJING, July 23 -- China's largest man-made bathing beach debuts last Saturday in Zhengzhou, capital of central China's Henan Province.

Over 100 million yuan was invested in building the 10-hectare Huanghegu-Malawan surfpark, which allows more than 10,000 people to play on it, Zhengzhou Evening News reports on Sunday.

Waves in the sea bathing beach, which could reach 3 meters high, was created with an advanced international vacuum technique. The big waves provide a refreshing and breathtaking experience for the visitors.

Local residents welcomed the Man-made bathing beach very much because now they can enjoy wave surfing in their own city without travelling to far away coastal destinations.
