BAGHDAD, July 15 (Xinhua) -- A U.S. F-16 warplane
crashed during takeoff on Sunday at a base north of Baghdad, but the pilot was
ejected safely, the military said in a statement.
The aircraft, which deployed to the 332nd Air
Expeditionary Wing, crashed during takeoff at Balad air base north of Baghdad,
