HEFEI, July 13 (Xinhua) -- Mauritian Prime Minister Navinchandra Ramgoolam
on Friday said Mauritius would like to further economic and trade ties with east
China's Anhui Province.
Ramgoolam, who arrived in the capital city of Hefei from Shanghai Thursday
afternoon, visited Anhui Jianghuai Automobile Corporation (JAC), and an economic
and technological development zone.
Showing great interest to the auto products, Ramgoolam took a test ride on
a model car, and said he will think of purchasing some.
Ramgoolam met with Anhui Provincial Party leader Guo Jinlong on Thursday
night, expressing the hope that more enterprises from Anhui could invest in
Mauritius and take Mauritius as a basis to further explore the African market.
Ramgoolam left for Hangzhou, capital of east China's Zhejiang Province, on
Friday afternoon, continuing his six-day official visit.
