JAKARTA, July 12 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with magnitude of 5.1 rocked eastern part of Indonesia on Thursday, no report of casualty or damages, Meteorology and Geophysics Agency said here.

    The quake jolted at 15: 26 Jakarta time (0826 GMT) with epicenter at 198 km southwest of Manado the capital of North Sulawesi province and at 33 km under sea bed, said an official of the agency.

    Indonesia is laid on a vulnerable quake-hit zone so called the Pacific Ring of Fire, which causes frequent seismic and volcanic movements.
