BERLIN, July 11 (Xinhua) -- One of the two German hostages who were kidnapped in Iraq in February has been released, German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier said on Wednesday.
The woman's son was still held by the Iraqi militants, the minister said.
Hannelore Krause, 61, is now at the German embassy in Iraq, Steinmeier said, adding that Germany would continue all efforts to secure the release of Krause's son.
