BEIJING, June 19 (Xinhuanet) -- Academy Award-winning
actress Julia Roberts has given birth on Monday to a baby boy, her third child
with husband Danny Moder, said Marcy Engelman, the actress's publicist Tuesday.
Roberts, 39, and husband Moder, 38, already have
two-year-old twins, Hazel and Phinnaeus.
The boy named Henry Daniel Moder. Henry was born in
Los Angeles and weighed about 3.8 kg, said Engelman.
Last month, it was announced that Roberts has signed
up to play renowned British wildlife conservationist Joan Root in the Hollywood
star's first collaboration with Working Title films since she starred in hit
movie "Notting Hill."
The movie will follow Root's earlier life making
pioneering and award-winning wildlife documentaries with husband Alan Root while
travelling the globe for more than 20 years.
Julia Roberts has been one of the most well-known and
highest-paid actresses in Hollywood since she landed her role in the 1990 film,
"Pretty Woman." She went on to win an Academy Award for playing the title
character in the 2000 film, "Erin Brockovich." She has also gone onto
receive critical acclaim for playing the role of Tess Ocean in the heist film,
"Ocean's Eleven."
Roberts met Moder while filming "The Mexican," for
which Danny was a cameraman. They were married at Roberts' ranch in New Mexico
in July 2002.
