BEIJING, June 18 -- Quadrangle Group LLC has agreed to buy Dennis Publishing Inc, owner of magazines for young men including Maxim and Stuff.

Media executive Kent Brownridge will be the company's chief executive officer.

The agreement also includes Maxim.com and Blender magazine, Quadrangle, a private equity firm in New York, said on Friday in a statement. Terms weren't disclosed.

The magazines have a combined monthly audience of 15.7 million, mainly men age 18 to 34, Quadrangle said. Other assets Quadrangle is buying include the Maxim radio network, restaurants, nightclubs, resorts and an event-marketing company, Bloomberg News reported.

Maxim's average paid circulation was little changed at 2.5 million for the six months ending on December 31.

Brownridge was general manager of Jann Wenner's Wenner Media, publisher of Rolling Stone, Us Weekly and Men's Journal, until 2005.
