BEIJING, June 13 -- American actress Sharon Stone
arrived in Shanghai on Tuesday evening for the upcoming 10th Shanghai
International Film Festival to open this Saturday.
Stone directly headed for her hotel upon arrival,
disappointing expectant reporters at Shanghai Pudong International Airport.
The actress, best known in China for her performance in
"Basic Instinct," is among the star-heavy guest lineup to walk the red carpet on
Saturday night.
