HEILIGENDAMM, Germany, June 7 (Xinhua) -- Leaders of the Group of Eight (G8) industrialized nations concluded their first closed-door working session here on Thursday.

    Later, they posed for a so-called family photo before meeting the Junior 8 group, which consists of eight youngsters from the G8 countries and one representative from a developing country.

    The G8 leaders are scheduled to convene their second closed-door working session at 4 p.m. (1400 GMT).

    The G8 groups Britain, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Russia and the United States. European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso is also attending the G8 summit.
