BEIJING, May 31 -- Get ready to see Sharon Stone, Maggie Cheung and Jay Chou walk the red carpet at the upcoming Shanghai International Film Festival.

    Although the festival's committee had previously denied access to Sharon Stone, her name appears on the guest list unveiled by the committee on Wednesday afternoon.

    It is the first official announcement of who will be present at this much anticipated festival.

    Other celebrities attending include French actress Marion Cotillard, Chinese director John Woo, and South Korean actor Lee Jun-ki, whose performance in "The King and the Clown" made him a famous figure to Chinese audience.

    The nine-day festival will open in Shanghai on June 16.
