    LONDON, May 26 (Xinhua) -- Former England captain David Beckham has been recalled to the national squad for next week's friendly match against Brazil and their Euro 2008 qualifier with Estonia.

    Beckham was dropped by new coach Steve McClaren following last year's World Cup, but his impressing form recently in Real Madrid helped him to win back McClaren's trust.

    The 32-year-old, who has played for his country for 94 matches, is likely to play Brazil in the national team's first match at the new Wembley stadium.
