BRUSSELS, May 24 (Xinhua) -- A Belgian prostitute has posted names of her clients who do not turn up for their appointment on the Internet to vent her anger, Belgian daily Het Laatste Nieuws reported Thursday.

Hotmarijke, a prostitute in the busy port city of Antwerp, has already posted 158 names on her website together with the customers' phone numbers.

She said that she lost income because of the time she wasted in waiting for clients who failed to arrive, the report said. But she admitted that most of her customers do turn up on time.

Hotmarijke operates what the newspaper describes as "a very explicit and widely visited website". The website is available in English and many other languages.

Belgium's privacy commission says that Hotmarijke is violating privacy legislation and will investigate the matter if anybody makes a complaint. She could risk a fine of 10,000 euros.

But Hotmarijke is not worried. "Anybody who files a complaint is admitting that he visits working girls," the prostitute was quoted as saying.
