Black box of crashed Kenya plane in Cameroon found

    YAOUNDE, May 7 (Xinhua) -- One of the two "black box" recorders of the crashed Kenya Airways' Boeing 737-800 plane in Cameroon was found on Monday, the country's national broadcasting TV station said.

    The black box, which was found by rescuers, may shed light on the cause of the crash, which might have killed all the 114 passengers aboard, the TV station said.  Full story

No survivor found in Kenya Airway plane crashed in Cameroon

    YAOUNDE, May 7 (Xinhua) -- No Survivor has been found around the wreckage of Kenya Airway's Boeing 737-800 which crashed on Saturday near Douala, economic capital of Cameroon, army sources who took part in the rescue work said on Monday.

    Earlier the day, governor of Litorral province told French international radio that the plane "is totally destroyed" and "there are few chances of finding the survivors."  Full story

Wreckage of Kenya Airway plane found

    YAOUNDE, May 6 (Xinhua) -- The wreckage of Kenya Airway's Boeing 737-800 which crashed on Saturday in Cameroon has been found near a village named Mbangabongo, near Douala, Cameroonian government announced on Sunday night.

    According to a statement issued by Cameroonian Ministry of Territorial Administration, the plane was found "in an area of mangrove swamp near a village named Mbangabongo, near Douala, largest city of Cameroon and the capital of Cameroon's Littoral Province.  Full story
