WARSAW, May 9 (Xinhua) -- Poland's President Lech Kaczynski, coming out of a Wednesday meeting with visiting Macedonian President Branko Crvenkovski, assured the guest of Poland's support for his country's NATO and EU aspirations.

    Crvenkovski said Macedonia sees its future in NATO and the EU.

    "Poland is a member and has a significant voice in these institutions, we particularly want Poland to support Macedonia's aspirations," Polish PAP news agency quoted Crvenkovski as saying.

    Kaczynski stressed that Poland is an advocate of an open-door policy in the name of European solidarity.
