CAIRO, April 26 (Xinhua) -- The head of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) Political Bureau, Khaled Meshaal, arrived here Thursday night to meet Palestinian President Mahmoud on the latest Palestinian developments, the Egyptian MENA news agency reported.

    Meshaal and Abbas, who is also scheduled to arrive in Egypt on Friday, are expected to discuss efforts exerted to restructure the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) and to boost the political partnership between the two sides, the report said.

    Meshaal, exiled in Damascus since 2001, vowed earlier this month that his organization would continue to resist Israel.
