BERLIN, April 23 (Xinhua) -- A Greek airliner bound for France made an unscheduled landing in Munich on Monday after a bomb threat, German authorities said.
The Olympic Flight 145 landed at 10:46 a.m. local time in Munich after Greek police received a phone call saying that an explosive device was on board the Boeing 737.
Parked away from other airliners, the aircraft was evacuated and searched by sniffer dogs. Munich airport authorities said it could take hours to search the plane and inspect all the luggage.
About 130 passengers, including 11 Greek members of the European Parliament, was on board the flight from Athens to Brussels via Strasbourg.
