BUENOS AIRES, April 16 (Xinhua) -- The health state of Argentina's 1980s soccer star Diego Maradona was said to be "favorable" Monday in a medical report made public at Buenos Aires' Los Arcos sanatorium.
On Maradona's fourth day in this clinic, the medical report was again brief and did not tell details about the soccer legend's health situation.
"The patient presents a favorable clinical evolution. Although his biochemical parameters are not normal, there is a trend towards recovery," added the medical report.
Maradona, 46, suffered an emergency hospitalization Friday due to strong stomach pains, 52 hours after leaving the Guemes hospital where he underwent a two-week treatment for an acute-toxic hepatitis.
