Jordanian king vows to set model in peaceful use of nuclear
energy
AMMAN, April 15 (Xinhua) -- Jordan's King Abdullah II on
Sunday promised that his country will "set a model for others" in the peaceful
use of nuclear energy, local news agency Petra reported.

ElBaradei sees no immediate danger of military action against Iran, the
Doha-based al-Jazeera television reported on Saturday.
ElBaradei told the television station that he does
not expect the use of force "at this juncture," though he is not "100 percent"

IAEA chief arrives in Jordan for visit
AMMAN, April 14 (Xinhua) -- Director General of the
International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Mohamed ElBaradei arrived here
Saturday for a three-day visit during which he is to discuss Jordan's plan to
set up a nuclear program for peaceful purposes.
The UN nuclear watchdog chief would
hold talks separately with Jordan's King Abdullah II, Prime Minister Marouf
Bakhet and other Jordanian top officials on the possibility of helping the
country to set up a nuclear program for peaceful purposes, local media
