GAZA, April 12 (Xinhua) - A senior leader of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) said on Thursday that his movement has received no official response from Israel over prisoners that the Palestinians demand their release in exchange for a captive Israeli soldier.
"We don't get responses from the media...the Egyptian security team is the official side that oversee the talks," Osama al-Muziniof Hamas told reporters in Gaza.
His remarks were made following reports that Israel has rejected the list of prisoners that the captors of the Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit have presented.
Even if Israel has rejected the list, Shalit captors, led by Hamas movement, will not comply with the Israeli criteria, says al-Muzini.
A progress has been made recently on talks to swap Shalit for some 1300 Palestinians. It is the first tangible development since the Corporal's capture in June.
