LONDON, April 11 (Xinhua) -- AC Milan became the only non-English side in the Champions League's last four after a 2-0 win over Bayern Munich on Wednesday.
The victory sent them through 4-2 on aggregate to set up a semifinal tie with Manchester United.
Liverpool, who beat PSV Eindhoven 1-0 with a goal from Peter Crouch, advanced with a comfortable 4-0 aggregate win and will next take on Chelsea.
After a 2-2 draw in the first-leg at the San Siro, Bayern came into the second leg with real hope of advancing, but it was not to be as the Italians scored twice in the first-half.
Clarence Seedorf put Milan ahead on 27 minutes with a neat finish from the edge of the area after Kaka's ball into feet.
Just four minutes later Filippo Inzaghi fired home the second after a good build-up.
When gifted the chance after Seedorf's delicate flick from Gennaro Gattuso's pass, Inzaghi made no mistake as he dispatched past Oliver Kahn although replays indicated a hint of offside.
Van Bommel had chances in the second half for Bayern as he shot at every opportunity. But his strikes were either went off target or denied by keeper Dida.
Owen Hargreaves wasted a well positioned free-kick by firing off target and moments later Salihamidzic's shot was straight at Dida as Bayern looked to get back in the game with just ten minutes remaining.
The Reds led 3-0 from the first leg and PSV's lack of adventure meant their progression was never in doubt.
Liverpool keeper Jose Reina did have to make two smart saves from Jefferson Farfan.
But PSV had Dirk Marcellis sent off for a foul on Bolo Zenden before Crouch tapped in Robbie Fowler's cross on 68 minutes.
Farfan should have headed PSV into an early lead at Anfield, but his third-minute header was straight at Reina from Philip Cocu's pin-point left-wing cross.
The Reds suffered a blow shortly after when Craig Bellamy couldn't continue after tweaking knee ligaments on blocking Csaba Feher's delivery into the box.
On Tuesday, the United routed AS Rome 7-1 to get through with an 8-3 aggregate win while Chelsea rallied from a goal down to edge Valencia 2-1 and advance 3-2 on aggregate.
