MACAO, April 11 (Xinhua) -- The two-day 4th China-ASEAN Prosecutors-General Conference, themed "Direct Cooperation in the Fight Against Transnational Crimes," kicked off here Wednesday.
This edition of the meeting was hosted by the Public Prosecutions
Office of Macao Special Administrative Region (MSAR).
The China-ASEAN Prosecutors-General Conference was initiated by
China's Supreme People's Procuratorate in 2004, with representatives of Hong
Kong and Macao taking part in as members of the Chinese delegation.
The aim of the conference is to strengthen exchange and cooperation
among prosecution services of China and ASEAN countries.
The previous three conferences were held in Kunming in China, Bangkok
in Thailand and Jakarta in Indonesia.
