BEIJING, April 11 -- Microsoft Corp, the world's
largest software company, appointed Herman Lam to head its Hong Kong operations
on Tuesday, replacing Alexander Huang.
Lam, previously deputy general manager at Microsoft Hong
Kong, was promoted to general manager of the local unit, and Huang became vice
president of consumer business for China region, Microsoft said in a faxed
statement on Tuesday. Microsoft said Davis Tsai will take over from Huang as
general manager of Taiwan operations.
