CANBERRA, March 29 (Xinhua) -- Australian figure skating judges Alan Blinn and Simone Moore were among three people killed in a boat collision on Sydney harbor, officials said Thursday.

And 14-year-old Queensland state skater Morgan Innes was missing after a ferry and a private motor cruiser collided near the harbor bridge late Wednesday.

Former Australian Olympic figure skater Liz Cain, who competed at the 1980 Winter Olympics, had a leg partially amputated in the accident. Seven other people were also injured.

Twelve members of Australia's ice skating community were on the cruise when the collision occurred. Most of those on the private boat were in Sydney to participate in a weeklong seminar given by U.S. figure skating coach Kathy Casey.

Blinn was the president of the New South Wales Ice Skating Association, and Moore was also involved with the same organization.

Sean Carlow, Australia's national champion who finished 28th in the short program last week at the world championships in Tokyo, was also injured in the crash.
