Earthquake hits seas of Japan

    HONG KONG, March 25 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake measuring 5.5 on the Richter scale rocked seas west of Honshu, Japan, at 11:17 GMT Sunday, according to the Hong Kong Observatory.

    The epicenter was initially determined to be 37.3 north latitude, 136.7 east longitude, about 240 km north of Nagoya.
