    TOKYO, March 25 (Xinhua) -- Several aftershocks with magnitudes of around 4 on the Richter scale rocked Ishikawa prefecture of central Japan on Sunday afternoon, Japan Meteorological Agency said.

    At 3:43 p.m. (0643 GMT), an aftershock with a magnitude of 4.3 rocked Wajima, Ishikawa prefecture, where five minutes later struck another aftershock of 3.1, and a third one of 3.8 at 3:57 p.m. (0657 GMT), the agency said.

    No tsunami warning was issued as to the three aftershocks.

    On Sunday morning, a strong earthquake with a magnitude of 6.9 jolted Sea of Japan coast area of central Japan's Hokuriku region, killing at least one person and the reported number of injured topped 100.
