BEIJING, March 18 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. Deputy Assistant Treasury Secretary Daniel Glaser arrived in Beijing Sunday afternoon on the eve of the new round of six-party talks which will begin on Monday.
"We had a good meeting in Macao with the Macao monitoring authorities," Glaser said upon his arrival at the Beijing international airport Sunday afternoon.
He came here after his visit to Macao, where he met with government officials.
Chinese State Councilor Tang Jiaxuan on Sunday said the DPRK and the United States had worked out a solution to the frozen funds at the Macao-based Banco Delta Asia.
Glaser said he will meet with the chief U.S. negotiator Christopher Hill in Beijing.
The sixth round of six-party talks will start in Beijing on Monday.
