MADRID, March 9 (Xinhua) -- Brazilian defender Roberto Carlos and Italian
captain Fabio Cannavaro will both skip Saturday's Spanish Derby of Real Madrid
against arch-foes Barcelona due to leg injuries.
Roberto Carlos would be out for three to four weeks with a partial tear to
a calf muscle in his right leg, according to the Primera Liga club.
Cannavaro will be sidelined for between 10 and 12 days after straining a
muscle in his right leg on the eve of his side's Champions League defeat by
Bayern Munich.
Real, fourth on the table with five points behind the second-placed
Barcelona, will also be without David Beckham and Jose Antonio Reyes due to knee
ligament injuries both sustained in last weekend's 1-1 draw against Getafe.
